Dear Q Community, The health and safety of our students, staff and faculty is always our top priority.

After careful consideration, and based on guidance from the State of California, the California Department of Education, and the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), we will be closing our school and cancelling all school-related activities as of Tuesday, March 17, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020 for 3 weeks.

Steps we are taking to ensure a smooth operation during this public health crisis:

1. Classes will be held on our existing online platform, Canvas, on, starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020.

2. We are closely monitoring information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state and local agencies to help ensure actions we’re taking are in line with the latest CDC recommendations and guidance and will monitor and update the school’s closure accordingly.

3. We are in close contact with our host families to ensure students who are staying in a host family are in good health.

4. We are committed to help when our partners and students need us!

4.1 Teachers will be available online for all students during class hours and via email.

4.2 Staff will be available for all agent partners and students both in person on a limited time schedule and via email/social media/phone.

For recruitment purposes, please continue to contact the designated staff available to you via email/social media/phone. If you have any urgent questions or requests, please contact Alvin, our Associate School Director, directly. His email is [email protected]

We want you to know that you can continue to rely on us. We truly appreciate your patience and trust in Q International School. We are here to serve you, and we will be here when you need us.

Stay healthy and safe!
